I am not sure if this is 1954 Pontiac Star Chief

Pontiac added a new car to their line-up in 54, the Star Chief. It was basically the same as the Chieftan but had eleven inches added to the trunk. Three stars on the back fender identified this model as a Star Chief. Bold new color options were offered. It was the top of the line Pontiac in 1954. The Star Chief was only offered only with the straight 8 engine.

Is this a Mini Copper?

My husband took this photo last October 2008 with my son in his favorite bookstore. He was having fun taking this kind of brain-biggling puzzle toy where you have to move this small colored ball from end to end.

He remembers this photo and names it Kaleidoscope World after hearing the untimely death of well known singer, rapper, composer and photographer Francis Magalona because he used to sing a song with the same title and it happens to be my husband’s favorite. The singer relates that everyone of us has direction and in whatever trail or road we will take, there is a destination to go to.

Taking pictures anywhere at any time and moment became my husband’s passion no matter if he’s just sitting somewhere or even at home. He just can’t seem to get tired of this hobby. What you’re seeing in this photo was taken while he was just sitting and resting in one of the nipa huts in Nurture Spa, a relaxing spa resort in Tagaytay.

Car fascination is one that my son inherited from his dad. This photo is taken from Jap’s  Wipeout Autocraft Auto Detailing Shop classic Volkswagen Beetle. See how it is restored, shine and how it is loved.

German made this since 1938 until 2003, Käfer was the original name of this car which means beetle. Really “Auto für Jedermann” (car for everyman) are the peoples’ cars and still serving and running for so many decades now.

Sadly, Puerto Azul Golf and Country Club today seems to have lost its glory that it once had back in the 80s. Still it may just be the place to be for quiet and private moments. Such as when we had to escape the pollution brought about by the firecrackers on December 31^st midnight. The place provided serenity and utmost relaxation particularly its cottages at Casubic. Not surprisingly, the resort’s staff shared that the place is mighty full during Holy Week.

Caylabne Bay’s existence about 15 minutes close to Puerto Azul could be another reason for the latter’s lackluster presence lately. Caylabne Bay’s view of the cove from the moment you enter its premises is simply breathtaking. It is also well maintained vis-à-vis Puerto Azul. There are also more facilities for both adults and children to enjoy. However, Caylabne is a lot pricier and more cosmopolitan vs Puerto Azul. It will now be a matter of taste and budget when it comes to choosing between the two resorts.
