The Philippines is known for its numerous beautiful beaches, mountains and other tourist spots. But if I would single out one spot I am most proud about, that would be Baguio City’s Camp John Hay. In fact, I’d say it’s the foremost attraction of Baguio (notwithstanding its many other must-see places).

When news had it that Camp John Hay were to be refurbished in the late 1990s, I was greatly worried that the renovations wouldn’t be able to live up to the glory of the original structures. Thankfully, the all new Camp John Hay was pretty well preserved and even improved with the existence of The Manor.
